The Dr. H. Thanisch estate, one of the most historic wineries in the Mosel, has been family-owned for over 375 years. Located in Bernkastel-Kues, this traditional estate is especially revered for its holdings in the famed Bernkasteler Badstube and Doctor vineyards. Today, the winery is led by Sofia Thanisch, continuing a legacy of refined, terroir-expressive Rieslings with a focus on sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar.
This 2022 Kabinett is a radiant expression of Mosel Riesling. Pale lemon in colour with shimmering green highlights, it opens with captivating aromas of white peach, crisp green apple, lime zest, and a whisper of flint. The palate is vibrant and off-dry, with finely woven acidity that lifts notes of juicy citrus, apricot, and delicate floral tones. Light-bodied and elegant, it finishes with mouthwatering minerality and a gentle sweetness that lingers.
Composed entirely of Riesling, this wine is best enjoyed now through 2032 to capture its youthful freshness and graceful development. It exemplifies the hallmark balance and precision of the Kabinett style from this renowned site.

Food Pairing
Ideal alongside spicy Asian cuisine such as Thai green curry, Vietnamese lemongrass chicken, or sushi with a wasabi kick. It also complements light pork dishes and herbed cheeses beautifully. Together, they create an unforgettable dining experience.
