Cadenhead Original Collection Tormore 14 Year Old is an independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from Tormore Distillery in Scotland's Speyside region. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in February 2026 at 46% ABV, this expression matured for 14 years in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Selected by Wm Cadenhead for its Original Collection, it combines vibrant citrus and orchard fruit character with rich confectionery sweetness, delicate spice and elegant sherry-cask depth.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with roasted pork tenderloin, grilled chicken, aged Gouda, toasted almonds and buttery pastries. Orange-infused dark chocolate, fruitcake and crème brûlée complement its fruity sweetness and warming spice.
Tasting Notes: A beautifully balanced Speyside single malt featuring creamy butterscotch, fresh citrus, soft summer fruits and warming ginger. Bourbon maturation brings sweetness and vibrancy, while Oloroso sherry hogsheads contribute rich fruit and savoury complexity.
Nose: Butterscotch, candyfloss, ginger, toffee, kombucha and pine.
Palate: Orange, strawberries and cream, prunes, fruitcake, white grapes and tangerines.
Finish: Brandy snaps, lemongrass, gorse and a gentle rye-like spice, leaving a fragrant and pleasantly warming impression.
