What flavor should I expect from Frog's Breath?
The coffee highlights chocolate and warm spice elements that mimic a mole-style profile—sweet cocoa with subtle savory spice. The medium roast tempers acidity and brings forward a creamy mouthfeel and a balanced, slightly spicy finish.
- Chocolate-mole tasting notes: cocoa, mild cinnamon, and a hint of roasted spice
- Medium roast delivers rounded sweetness and controlled bitterness
- Low-acid formulation for a gentler cup suitable for sensitive stomachs
How should I brew whole beans for the best result?
Grind to the method: coarse for French press, medium for pour-over, and fine for espresso. Freshly grinding just before brewing maximizes aromatics and the mole-like spice complexity.
- French press: coarse grind, 4–5 minutes steep for richer body
- Pour-over: medium grind and a steady pour to highlight clarity
- Auto-drip: use the included ground option or grind medium for balanced extraction
