This 24-ounce bag of Jet Fuel blends premium beans sourced from South America, Central America and Africa, roasted to a dark, full-bodied profile with subtle herbal notes. The roast emphasizes weight and depth rather than brightness, producing a lingering finish suitable for espresso, French press or drip methods. Packaging may vary, but the roast profile and bean origins remain consistent, making it a reliable option for fans of darker coffees.
What does "intense and heavy body" mean for my cup?
"Intense and heavy body" describes a rich mouthfeel and concentrated flavor presence — the coffee feels substantial on the palate and carries bold roast characteristics. Acidity is restrained, so the taste leans toward roasted, earthy, and slightly herbal tones rather than bright, fruity notes.
- Full-bodied texture that coats the tongue.
- Low to light acidity for a smoother finish.
- Dark-roast flavors: roasted cocoa, toasted nuts, and subtle herbal hints.
- Works well with milk-based drinks and concentrated extractions.
How should I brew Jet Fuel to get the best flavor?
Choose a brewing method that highlights weight and roast depth: espresso, French press, or a coarser drip will reveal the roast’s character. Adjust grind size and brew time to control extraction; finer grinds yield more intensity, coarser grinds emphasize body and roundness.
- Espresso: fine grind for concentrated sweetness and crema.
- French press: coarse grind for pronounced body and oils.
- Drip/auto: medium-coarse grind for balanced extraction.
- Use fresh, filtered water and a 1:15–1:17 coffee-to-water ratio as a starting point.
What are the beans and roast details behind this blend?
Jet Fuel combines high-quality beans from South and Central America plus Africa, selected for their complementary flavors when roasted dark. The blend is non-flavored and crafted to produce a smooth, exotic, and assertive dark roast without artificial additives.
- Blend origins: South America, Central America, Africa.
- Non-flavored whole beans, allowing pure bean characteristics.
- Trademark dark-roast profile with subtle herbal notes.
- Roasted to deliver an even, full-bodied cup with a smooth finish.
How should I store and use this 24 oz bag to keep freshness?
Store the unopened bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, transfer beans to an airtight container or reseal the original bag tightly to protect aroma and flavor for several weeks.
- Keep beans whole and grind just before brewing for best flavor.
- Airtight opaque container reduces oxidation and light exposure.
- Use within 2–4 weeks of opening for optimal taste.
- Freeze only if you must store long-term; thaw before opening to avoid condensation.
Who is this for: Jet Fuel suits coffee lovers who prefer dark, robust cups with substantial body and a smooth finish. If you enjoy espresso shots, milk-forward lattes that stand up to dairy, or a bold French press morning brew, this blend offers consistent intensity and layered roast notes without added flavors. It’s a practical 24-ounce option for home baristas, busy households, or small offices seeking a dark-roast staple that holds up across brewing methods.
