Crafted with precision and aged with patience, the Benromach Air Dried Oak 2012 is a captivating Speyside single malt that reflects the distillery's dedication to tradition and innovation. Distilled in 2012 and matured in hand-selected American oak casks that were air-dried for an extended period, this whisky offers a unique depth of character and complexity.
On the nose, it reveals rich aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, and delicate spices, followed by hints of ripe orchard fruits and a touch of smoke. The palate delivers a smooth and creamy texture, showcasing layers of honeyed malt, dried fruits, and soft oak tannins. A subtle smokiness lingers in the background, balancing the sweetness and enhancing the finish.
Bottled at natural colour and non-chill filtered, this limited-edition release is a true expression of Benromach’s artisan approach to whisky making. Ideal for collectors and connoisseurs alike.
