Indulge in the refined complexity of the Benromach Bourbon Barrel Single Cask (Cask No. 136) – a remarkable Speyside single malt distilled in 2007 and matured exclusively in a first-fill bourbon barrel. Bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered, this rare expression captures the true essence of Benromach's traditional, handcrafted style.
Tasting Notes:
On the nose, expect inviting aromas of vanilla pod, toasted oak, and citrus zest with a hint of soft smoke. The palate unfolds with layers of creamy toffee, ripe banana, and charred oak, balanced beautifully by a gentle spice. The finish is long and warming, leaving traces of sweet malt and lingering oak.
