AJ Fernandez churns out some of the industry’s most richly satisfying smokes this side of Cuba. Havana’s fine art museum, “Bellas Artes,” inspired Fernandez to create the award-winning Bellas Artes series. The Bellas Artes Habano Gordo is a work of art all its own, offering up one of Fernandez’s most complex and refined smokes yet.
The Bellas Artes Habano Gordo is a box-pressed 6 ½” x 58 cigar crafted around an expansive filler blend of Nicaraguan Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa tobacco mixed with leaves from Brazil and Honduras. The binder is a hearty leaf from Nicaragua’s storied Quilali region. Finally, the cigar is shrouded beneath a hybrid Nicaraguan Rojita Habano wrapper. Expect to settle in for a good hour and a half to two hours with this beauty.
The Bellas Artes Habano Gordo treats you to a lavish feast of body and taste that will keep you engaged for the entirety of the experience. Leather and cedar notes nudge the smoke into motion, with leathery, earthy, and herbal notes not far behind. Hints of cashews and hazelnuts swirl over the palate as dashes of cream and licorice put the final touches on the medium-to-full-bodied smoke.
The Bellas Artes Habano Gordo is a rare achievement that delivers a fantastically rich and flavorful yet endlessly smooth experience. With its deep complexity, intricate flavor profile, and enormous size, this Gordo is sure to haunt your dreams until you can spark up another. So, stock up on this mesmerizing smoke today!
