Privada Storytelling
The Antben Cigar Maduro Toro is a bold collaboration brought to life by none other than AJ Fernández. Crafted with a San Andrés Maduro wrapper draped over estate-grown Nicaraguan binder and fillers, this cigar was not only blended by AJ himself but also aged under his watchful eye.
What emerges is a rich, full-bodied smoke that exemplifies AJ’s unmatched ability to coax complexity and balance out of powerhouse tobaccos. This is not just a Maduro — it’s a statement, one that ties Antben’s name to one of the most respected cigar makers in the world.
Flavor Journey
The first draws deliver black pepper and espresso layered over earthy richness. Midway, the San Andrés wrapper asserts itself with waves of dark chocolate, cedar, and molasses. The final third crescendos into dried fruit sweetness wrapped in spice, finishing bold yet remarkably smooth.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada has always sought cigars that combine story with substance. The Antben Maduro Toro belongs because it is both a masterclass in San Andrés Maduro blending and a testament to AJ Fernández’s influence on modern cigar artistry. Aged and refined, it stands as one of the clearest examples of how quality and patience redefine strength.
