Domaine Bruno Colin was established in 2003 following the division of the family estate Michel Colin-Deleger, and Bruno Colin produced his first vintage in 2004 after training at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune. This Chassagne-Montrachet comes from a selection of nine parcels totaling 1.71 hectares, with vines, some over 60 years old, rooted in clay-limestone soils. The wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay. The grapes are hand-harvested with rigorous sorting directly in the vineyard, and the wine is then aged for 10 months in oak barrels, about a quarter of which are new oak.
