A torpedo stick that's among the strongest cigars you can get with spice and bold flavors that'll have cigar veterans salivating.
Among the top regarded cigars available today, these Alec Bradley Prensado cigars were 2011's "Cigar of the Year" according to Cigar Aficionado. That heralded track record can make these sticks hard to find in-stock but the cigars themselves rarely disappoint with a handsome appearance and world-class flavor.
A little over 6-inches long with a 52 ring gauge, the main attraction of this bold beauty is the well-aged 2006 Corojo wrapper that's grown in Honduras' Jalapa Valley. The stick itself looks as good as it tastes with a wealthy appearance, oily wrapper, and a triple cap that signifies the type of quality construction and attention to detail you'll only find in the top 2-3% of all cigars manufactured in the world today.
The initial flavor profile of these box-pressed cigars offers a bit of sweet wood and smooth coffee notes. Note, the earth-tones and spices are a bit intense at times and the prensado line-up is full of flavor that veteran cigar smokers will love but new cigar fans may not be ready for! Alan Rubin, the creator of these Alec Bradley Prensado torpedo cigars says their goal was to follow the Cuban tradition in making this stick. Judging by the processes they used, they succeeded. In fact, it took Alec Bradley three months to figure out just how to box press these cigars without giving the stick a squared-edge.
These cigars will arrive shipped directly to your front door with 24 torpedo cigars in each box.
