At Sociway, we want you to create great memories with the people you meet — but your safety should always come first. Here are some important tips to help you stay safe while exploring and connecting:

Location sharing is optional. Avoid sharing your real-time location publicly, especially before meeting someone in person.
If you do share, do it only with people you trust and when necessary.

Keep your conversations within the app during the initial stages of meeting someone. Don’t rush to share personal details like your phone number, social media handles, or address.
☕ 3. Choose Safe and Public Meeting Spots
Always meet in public, busy, and secure places — especially for the first time. Avoid quiet, isolated, or unfamiliar areas.
👀 4. Inform a Trusted Contact
Let a friend or family member know when you’re attending an event or meeting someone.
Share your plans if necessary, and check in with them so they know you feel safe.
🚩 5. Watch for Red Flags
Pushy messages, requests for personal info, pressure to meet quickly, or strange behavior can be red flags. Trust your instincts.
If something feels off, stop the conversation and report it.

Take time to read event details before joining. If the description feels incomplete or untrustworthy, you’re under no obligation to attend.
When creating your own event, be clear, respectful, and make others feel safe too.
🤝 8. Consent Is Always Essential
Whether it’s physical contact, social plans, or any form of interaction — everything must be based on mutual consent.
“No” means no. Persistent or pushy behavior will not be tolerated.

Make sure your device is locked, your app store account is secure, and that only you have access to your Sociway account.
