Master Distiller Stephen Beam crafted the 2025 release for Limestone Branch Distillery's ongoing annual Limited Edition series. Marking a decade of these special annual offerings (2015–2025), this expression features an expertly blended 10-year-old straight bourbon whiskey base finished in specialty barrels, delivering rich layers of caramelized sugar, toasted oak, leather, dark stone fruits, and baking spices.
Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, aged Cheddar, dark chocolate truffles, pecan pie, or braised short ribs.
Tasting Notes: Rich copper amber with dark mahogany highlights and heavy, slow-moving legs along the glass.
Nose: Complex and inviting, opening with toasted oak, dark caramel, and vanilla bean, followed by sweet rye spice, dried cherry, and soft leather.
Palate: Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, featuring sweet brown sugar, toasted corn, and dark honey upfront before developing into cinnamon spice, nutmeg, and charred oak tannins.
Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with notes of vanilla, toasted wood, and gentle rye spice.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass, or with a splash of pure limestone water.
