Privada Storytelling
When Xhaxhi Bobi set out to craft a Halloween cigar for the LCA, he brought his signature mischief and artistry to the project. Known in the Dominican cigar world for his eccentric personality and endless energy, Bobi created a cigar that feels like the season itself: playful, dark, and a little spooky. Released on October 8, 2021, this toro was meant to be enjoyed under crisp autumn skies, the scent of fallen leaves in the air, and the thrill of Halloween on the horizon. Bobi’s wild spirit lives in every puff — a reminder that cigars aren’t just about tobacco, they’re about celebration, community, and memory.
Flavor Journey
First Third: Opens with rich chocolate brownie and cedar, accented by dried fruit sweetness. The retrohale carries a peppery zing alongside herbal hops.
Second Third: Floral notes emerge, weaving through the smoke with complexity. The dried fruit deepens into raisin and fig, supported by the sturdy San Andres earthiness.
Final Third: The profile crescendos with dark cedar, cocoa powder, spice, and faint molasses sweetness. Balanced and layered, it closes with the satisfying depth of autumn warmth.
Why It Belongs in Privada
This cigar embodies the Privada ethos — a limited-time, one-of-a-kind creation from a true artisan. The Halloween release showed how cigars can transcend traditional boundaries and become moments in culture. With tobaccos that are rare and a theme that only adds to the mystique, this release captures the creative freedom that makes the LCA so important to cigar enthusiasts everywhere.
