Writers Tears Copper Pot Irish Whiskey
A refined and distinctive Irish whiskey, this expression offers a perfect marriage of aged Single Malt and Single Pot Still whiskey. Crafted without the use of grain whiskey, it is distilled exclusively from malted and unmalted barley.
Triple distilled and matured in American oak bourbon casks, it delivers smooth complexity and refined character. With its non-peated profile and award-winning quality, this is a whiskey made for those who appreciate authenticity, balance, and a touch of elegance in every pour.
- Gold Medal Winner at the International Spirits Challenge, recognised for excellence in taste and quality
- The nose offers aromas of crisp apple, creamy vanilla, and soft honey
- The palate opens with warm spice, ginger, and rich butterscotch layered with refined malt character
- The finish is long and elegant, with hints of toasted oak, milk chocolate, and light cereal sweetness
Ideal for sipping neat or over ice, this whiskey also stands out in a well-crafted Irish Coffee or classic Old Fashioned. It pairs wonderfully with roasted chicken, creamy risotto, or smoked salmon.
For dessert, enjoy alongside apple tart, shortbread, or honey-drizzled panna cotta. Its smoothness and gentle spice make it approachable yet complex for every level of whiskey enthusiast.
