The Woodford Reserve 2026 Kentucky Derby 152 Edition is an annual limited-edition release that pairs classic Kentucky bourbon craftsmanship with collectible prestige. Celebrating the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby, it combines Woodford’s signature balance of rich sweetness and spice with striking Derby-inspired artwork — making it as suitable for display and gifting as it is for refined sipping or traditional cocktail service during Derby festivities.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced at Woodford Reserve Distillery in Versailles, Kentucky, one of bourbon’s most historic sites, this limited edition uses the same Kentucky Straight Bourbon base found in the distillery’s flagship expressions. Woodford Reserve’s profile stems from a mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley, distilled in a combination of pot stills and column stills to achieve a rich and aromatic spirit. After maturation in new charred American oak barrels, the bourbon is bottled at 45.2% ABV (90.4 proof) and presented in a distinctive 1-liter Derby commemorative bottle adorned with custom artwork reflecting the culture, pageantry, and excitement of the Kentucky Derby.
The annual Derby editions have become coveted among collectors and enthusiasts alike, with each year’s artwork often created by a featured artist that interprets the event’s iconic imagery. The 2026 release continues this tradition, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and limited-edition allure.
