Distilled at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, under the direction of Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell, this single barrel release represents an individual cask hand-selected by Costco Wholesale tasting teams. Bottled at 101 proof, this high-rye bourbon showcases an elevated presentation of classic Wild Turkey character, offering rich vanilla bean, toasted oak, sweet caramel, and signature rye spice.
Food Pairing: Smoked brisket, sharp aged Cheddar, pecan pie, glazed pork ribs, or dark chocolate truffles.
Tasting Notes: Deep copper amber with dark golden highlights and heavy, slow-moving legs along the glass.
Nose: Rich and expressive, opening with vanilla bean, dark caramel, and charred oak, followed by baked apple, orange peel, leather, and bold baking spice.
Palate: Full-bodied and oily on the palate, featuring sweet corn, brown sugar, and toasted oak upfront before evolving into bold rye pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and dark cocoa.
Finish: Long, warm, and lingering with notes of sweet wood spice, charred oak, and vanilla.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass, or with a splash of pure limestone water.
