Wholesome Sweeteners Fairtrade Organic Turbinado is a golden-coloured raw cane sugar with large sparkling crystals and a rich aroma. Organic Turbinado is the ultimate topping for cakes, cookies, muffins, crumbles, and pies. It makes a wonderful start to the day when sprinkled on cereal and oatmeal or when blended into fruit smoothies and cappuccino.
Fairtrade Organic Turbinado is made by crushing the freshly-cut sugar cane to squeeze out the juice rich in vitamins and minerals. The cane juice is evaporated and spun in a turbine to produce the large sparkling golden crystals.
Chefs love the rich flavour of Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Sugars. Fairtrade Organic Turbinado ara is a favourite of Washington DC's Chef Nora Pouillon, owner of Restaurant Nora, America's first certified organic restaurant and Asia Nora, where organic ingredients are combined to create healthy dishes for a balanced diet. Try her amazing Turbinado Cracked Sugar Cookie recipe featured on the bag.
The Fairtrade Certified logo is Wholesome Sweeteners' guarantee that our farming cooperatives are paid directly for the cane grown and milled. This means that farmers can compete with factory farms, cultivate the quality of their crops, send their kids to school and build thriving communities. Thank you for choosing Wholesome Sweeteners and helping to make the world a sweeter place.
