Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay
This Californian Chardonnay is grown in the cool Livermore Valley, shaped by Pacific fog and maritime breezes. Produced by Wente Vineyards, founded in 1883, it reflects generations of family winemaking and the historic Wente Chardonnay clone.
Careful fermentation and measured oak ageing preserve fresh fruit character while adding gentle creaminess and balance. The cool climate supports natural acidity, giving the wine clarity, poise and an approachable, polished style.
- The nose shows green apple and citrus, with soft vanilla and lightly toasted oak notes.
- The palate offers lemon, ripe pear and subtle creaminess with restrained oak influence.
- The finish is fresh and balanced, with lingering minerality and clean, refreshing acidity.
Serve with seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes or soft cheeses such as brie or camembert.
