Warre's Vintage Port 2024 is a majestic expression of the renowned house's craftsmanship, bearing the deep, regal hues of a profound ruby color. The nose unfolds an intricate tapestry of aromas, featuring an opulent array of dark fruits. Blackberries, black currants, and plums intertwine with hints of violets and a subtle touch of spice, creating an olfactory experience that is both powerful and refined.

On the palate, this Vintage Port delivers a symphony of complex flavors. Ripe black fruits take center stage, accompanied by nuances of dark chocolate, cedar, and a whisper of black pepper. The wine's texture is velvety, showcasing a harmonious balance between its robust tannins and luscious fruitiness.

Critic Ratings

James Suckling Review - Rated 97:

Medium- to full-bodied, leaning toward the fuller end, with notes of violets, blackberries and black pepper. Precise and charming as well as approachable, with a focused structure without excessive amplitude. It shows a vibrant side that makes it very pleasant to taste. Drink now

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - Rated 95:

The 2024 Vintage Port is the next declaration after the back-to-back 2016 and 2017 vintages. It was produced from 38% Touriga Franca, 34% a field blend from old vines (vinhas velhas), 17% Touriga Nacional and 11% Sousão, fermented in lagar with indigenous yeasts and matured in large oak vessels for 18 months. There is a higher percentage of Touriga Franca in Warre's, a wine that has always been more elegant and graceful. I've always had a crush for Warre's, which is more elegant, and I think it's often underestimated. It's sophisticated and structured, has notes of roses and stands out because of its elegance. It has very fine and elegant tannins. It has concentration and structure, but it's quite drinkable and can be enjoyed now or aged. It has 100 grams of sugar and is often the driest of the Symington Vintage Ports. 51,360 bottles produced.
