This elegant S.T. Dupont “Soubreny” lighter, crafted in 1994, showcases a distinctive two-tone construction combining a luminous silver exterior with a warm gold interior—an execution that reflects Dupont’s refined design language of the 1990s.
The body features a sophisticated Arc Wave Guilloché center panel, framed by sharply defined vertical ribbed sides. This architectural composition creates a dynamic interplay of light and texture, elevating the piece beyond standard guilloché patterns and positioning it within the more uncommon and collectible variations of the period.
Compact, well-balanced, and mechanically precise, the Soubreny model delivers both tactile satisfaction and reliable performance. The signature Dupont soft flame ignition remains smooth and controlled, consistent with the brand’s reputation for engineering excellence.
Offered as a complete full set with its original box and documents, this example represents a highly desirable and less frequently encountered configuration, appealing to both seasoned collectors and those seeking a refined, distinctive everyday lighter.
