This exceptional vintage Cartier lighter was crafted in 1978 and represents one of the rarest and most striking designs ever produced by the Maison. Executed as a solid 18k gold pentagon-shaped basket jacket, the lighter features confirmed 750 hallmarks and an exceptionally uncommon two-tone construction combining yellow gold and white gold. The pentagon basket architecture is regarded as one of Cartier’s most technically complex and visually distinctive precious-metal lighter designs, produced in very limited numbers. Offered here in never-used condition and preserved in outstanding original state, this example is accompanied by an exceptionally rare early Cartier presentation box along with its full original accessory set, positioning it firmly among top-tier Cartier collector pieces.
