This exceptional vintage S.T. Dupont lighter, crafted in the early 1970s, is a rare and highly collectible example featuring a solid 18K gold body fully hallmarked 750. Unlike more common gold‑plated models, this piece offers substantial weight, intrinsic value, and a level of craftsmanship reserved for Dupont’s most exclusive productions.
The lighter is further distinguished by its elegant natural wood inlays, creating a refined contrast with the rich gold surface. This combination of precious metal and organic material reflects Dupont’s ability to merge luxury with artistic design.
As an early production model, it represents a scarce and desirable configuration, increasingly difficult to source—especially in complete full‑set condition. Suitable for both collectors and refined everyday use.
Macassar Ebony wood, Diospyros celebica, is a very rare and desired exotic Ebony wood from Asia. Diospyros in Latin originally meant "fruit of the Gods" and is referenced in Ezekiel 27:15. A wood of great importance worldwide, Macassar Ebony has been used by many kings.
