This extraordinary vintage Cartier lighter was crafted in the 1970s and represents one of the most exceptional creations from Cartier’s prestigious solid gold guilloché enamel series. Executed entirely in solid 18k gold, the lighter is adorned with deep blue enamel applied over an engine-turned guilloché pattern, a process requiring extraordinary precision and mastery. Enameling directly over solid gold is among the most technically demanding decorative techniques, making examples of this caliber exceptionally rare. The result is a piece of remarkable depth, brilliance, and refinement that reflects Cartier’s highest standards of artistry and luxury craftsmanship. This lighter has never been filled and is therefore offered as untested, preserved in outstanding original condition and accompanied by its complete original presentation set.
