This extraordinary vintage Dunhill table lighter was crafted in the 1940s and represents one of the most iconic and imaginative designs ever produced by Dunhill. Known as the “Aladdin’s Lamp,” this model is executed in oxidized silver with a richly detailed surface pattern, reflecting both historical inspiration and masterful British craftsmanship. The design is an elegant reinterpretation of the ancient Roman Lucerna oil lamp, reimagined for the modern era through Dunhill’s innovative engineering and artistic vision. Produced in England during a formative period of Dunhill’s history, this piece stands as a remarkable fusion of antiquity and modern luxury. Preserved with its original box and booklet, this lighter has never been filled and is therefore offered as untested, remaining in outstanding original condition and retaining exceptional collector significance.
