Vinas del Vero Gewurztraminer Somontano
This aromatic white wine comes from Somontano, a high-altitude Spanish region in the Pyrenees foothills. It is made by Vinas del Vero, one of the region’s leading producers, recognised for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Fruit comes from the El Enebro single vineyard, planted in 1990 on north-facing loam soils at 400 metres altitude. Grapes are chilled, gently macerated, and fermented at low temperatures to preserve varietal aromatics and retain natural residual sugar.
- It offers expressive floral notes with rose petal, lychee and exotic fruit.
- The palate is velvety and gently off-dry, showing ripe orchard fruit and spice with rounded weight.
- The finish is smooth and aromatic, leaving lingering floral tones and subtle sweetness.
Serve lightly chilled with spicy dishes, foie gras or rich, full-fat cheeses.
