Delicate floral aromas, zesty citrus and mineral notes make our Vicino Lontano a classic example of Vermentino. If you've never tried this exciting grape variety, this wine is a beautiful place to start. Comparable to Sauvignon Blanc, Vermentino is known for its crisp acidity, perfumed aromatics, and fresh fruit characteristics. Throughout history, this grape traveled all across Europe, eventually making the Meditterean its home. In Sicily, winemakers take great care cultivating these vineyards to create wines that showcase the best the island has to offer. The result is a wine you'll be proud to bring to your next dinner party. Whip up some appetizers featuring fresh seafood or serve it alongside the main course of fresh pasta doused in a creamy sauce.
