Velo's Icy Berries pouches pack a proper punch of mixed berry flavours with that signature icy kick. You're getting sweet blueberry, tart raspberry, and juicy blackberry all rolled into one pouch - it's like having a fruit salad that's been left in the freezer for a bit.
Each pouch delivers 10mg of nicotine (that's 14.3mg per gram if you're counting), which sits nicely in the medium strength category. The slim design means they fit comfortably under your lip without looking like you've got a golf ball tucked away. Honestly, the discreteness is spot on.
Here's what makes these stand out - the berry flavour isn't artificial tasting like some brands. The forest berry blend actually tastes natural, though the icy finish can be quite intense if you're not used to menthol-style products. Takes about 5-10 minutes for the flavour to fully develop.
You get 20 pouches per pack, made with plant-based fibres from Scandinavian pine and eucalyptus. They're completely tobacco-free, which is the whole point really. The pouches themselves are soft white and don't irritate your gums like some of the cheaper alternatives do.
Perfect for situations where smoking isn't an option - trains, offices, restaurants. The nicotine hit lasts around 45-60 minutes depending on your tolerance. One minor gripe: the icy sensation can overpower the berry taste towards the end, but that's pretty typical for this style of pouch.
If you're after something fruity with a cooling finish, these tick all the boxes.
