UNDONE GmbH applies meticulous industrious precision to replicate essential backbar components. Anyone can put juniper in water and call it gin, but Undone has systematically approached a much broader category of classic European mixological mythologies. We've honed in on exactly what we miss most when we're choosing not to have the alcoholic classics: the bitter elements.
Their No. 8 Little French Aperitif is a fun one for summer months and the Continental at heart. While it doesn't claim to be not something specific like most of Undone's lineup, it's definitely not not, not Lillet? From a base of de-alcoholised white wine, they build an aromatic and playful concoction that is equally at home in your home mixology repetoire as it is alone in a glass with a big cube and a simple garnish.
Fresh, fruity, abundantly aromatic and with a really sophisticated subtle bittersweet touch deep in it's long finish - genuinely impressive!
Do as the French do and pour a splash of something fresh for yourself in the long and leisurely pre-dinner hour. This light aromatic wine-based aperitif is just the thing.
