Two Brothers India Farms Jaggery Powder is a chemical-free panela-style sweetener made from quality sugarcane, ideal for replacing refined sugar in beverages and everyday recipes.
This single-ingredient jaggery powder (17.6 oz) delivers a deep, caramel-like sweetness and a naturally earthy flavor profile. Sourced from sugarcane and processed without added chemicals, it’s offered as a pantry-friendly packet for tea, coffee, baking, sauces and traditional sweets. The powder texture makes it easy to measure and dissolve, so you get the classic jaggery taste without breaking up solid blocks or dealing with sticky pieces.
How does this jaggery powder work in tea and coffee?
It dissolves quickly and adds warm, molasses-like notes that complement hot beverages without the sharp finish of refined sugar. Start with the same volume you use for sugar and adjust to taste; the richer flavor means many people use slightly less. Its powder form ensures even mixing and no graininess.
- Dissolves faster than jaggery blocks for smoother drinks
- Adds caramel and toffee undertones to tea and coffee
- Measure by volume as a one-to-one sugar substitute and tweak
Is this jaggery powder suitable for cooking and baking?
Yes — its fine texture blends into batters, syrups and sauces, giving baked goods a deeper color and richer taste. Use it in cakes, cookies, puddings, marinades and traditional desserts wherever a natural sweetener is preferred. Because it contributes moisture and a distinct flavor, consider slightly adjusting liquid or spice levels in some recipes.
- Works as a direct sugar replacement in most recipes
- Improves color, flavor and moisture in baked items
- Easy to stir into sauces, dressings and marinades
What distinguishes this product from refined sugar or other sweeteners?
This jaggery powder retains the characteristic minerals and plant-derived elements of sugarcane, producing a layered sweetness rather than pure sucrose. It is tested to be glyphosate-free and processed without chemical additives, offering a cleaner-label option. The end result is a pantry staple that emphasizes flavor complexity and minimal processing.
- Processed from sugarcane without added chemicals
- Natural earthy and caramel flavor compared to neutral sugar
- Packaged powder form for easy dosing and reliable texture
How should I store and use the jaggery powder to keep it fresh?
Keep the packet sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve aroma and prevent clumping. For longer storage, transfer to an airtight container and use a dry spoon each time. Because powder can absorb moisture, avoid storing near the stove or sink.
- Store in an airtight container to prevent moisture buildup
- Use a dry scoop to avoid introducing humidity
- Best kept in a pantry spot away from heat and sunlight
