Produced in the Tuscany region of Italy, Perlato del Bosco is a distinguished offering from the renowned Suvereto subregion. The estate was founded by Rita Tua and Virgilio Rossi in 1984, growing from a small family project into a world class winery celebrated for its meticulous attention to detail and commitment to expressing the unique Metalliferous Hills terroir. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on minimal intervention and gravity-led processes to preserve the authentic character of the coastal Tuscan landscape.
Wine Description
This 100% Sangiovese displays a deep ruby red hue with subtle violet highlights. The nose is fragrant and inviting, revealing a bouquet of cherries, raspberries, and wild berries, alongside secondary notes of leather, earth, and a distinct mineral hint of iron and slate. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied yet remains remarkably fresh, featuring fine grained tannins and a silky texture.
