One of the most important aspects of winemaking is understanding how nature can be a help and a hindrance at every step of the process. Just like trailstones balanced along mountain paths to guide hikers, there are signs that guide every winemaker to a balanced final bottle. The sun and the rain, the soil and the season all tell a story to the winemakers about how they need to take care of the vines. The Trailstone 2016 Chenin Blanc is a versatile and delicious white. Made from some of the finest grapes in California, it feels silky in the mouth with lush notes of lychee, honey, & pear. From the first sip, the Trailstone is crisp and refreshing, so it's perfect to enjoy outside—taking in the scenery. The Trailstone Chenin Blanc is also loved by judges, they gave it a silver medal at the 2017 Sommeliers Challenge.
