The Toscano Terre Figurado is a cigar that could only have come from Italy. Introduced to the U.S. market in 2026, Terre reaches deep into Toscano's more than two centuries of tobacco tradition with a remarkably pure proposition: 100% Italian Kentucky tobacco, grown in Tuscany, Lazio, and Campania and transformed through the dark fire-curing that gives the Toscano style its unmistakable identity. Even the production remains thoroughly Italian—the cigar is made at Toscano's historic Lucca factory, with a dark fire-cured Kentucky wrapper from Tuscany surrounding Italian Kentucky filler selected from the three growing regions. Rather than borrowing from the traditions of Cuba, Nicaragua, or the Dominican Republic, Terre is unapologetically an expression of Italian soil and Italian cigar making.
Its distinctive 6.3" x 38 double-truncated-cone Figurado immediately separates Terre from conventional premium cigars. The slender ends swell into Toscano's characteristic broad belly, concentrating the smoke while giving the fire-cured Kentucky room to display its considerable personality. Expect a substantial, medium-to-full experience driven by smoked wood, earth, leather, pepper and savory spice, with the tobacco from each growing area contributing its own nuance. Toscano specifically points to the spice of Valtiberina, the sharper character of Pontecorvo leaf, and the distinctive qualities of tobacco from Benevento. This isn't the creamy sweetness of a conventional Caribbean blend; Terre is darker, drier, smokier and more rustic, with the unmistakable intensity that makes well-aged Kentucky tobacco so compelling.
