Tobermory 27 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish Expression 5 Whisky 70cl
Showcasing the remarkable influence of sherry cask maturation on aged island whisky, Tobermory 27 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish Expression 5 is a limited-edition single malt that combines decades of careful ageing with the rich complexity of hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks. Distilled on the Isle of Mull and bottled as part of Tobermory's prestigious Hebridean Series, this exceptional release highlights the distillery's ability to balance maritime character with luxurious depth and refinement.
Matured for 27 years before receiving an extended finish in Oloroso sherry casks, Expression 5 delivers extraordinary richness, elegance and complexity. The influence of the sherry wood complements Tobermory's signature fruity and coastal spirit, creating a whisky of exceptional balance and sophistication.
- The nose opens with aromas of dried figs, sultanas and dark cherries layered with polished oak, orange peel and warming spice.
- The palate is rich and velvety, revealing notes of fruitcake, toffee, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and sweet sherry richness.
- The finish is long and luxurious, with lingering hints of espresso, oak spice, dried fruits and maritime salinity.
A beautifully matured island single malt that demonstrates the harmony between aged Tobermory spirit and premium Oloroso sherry cask finishing.
