Dial in more consistent espresso with the Timemore PUCKS Orbital Needle Distributor, a puck prep tool designed to break up clumps and evenly distribute grounds before tamping. A more uniform coffee bed helps water flow through the puck more evenly, which can reduce channeling and the harsh, sour, or weak shots that come from uneven extraction. If you’re serious about espresso workflow, this is the step that sets up everything that follows.
The PUCKS Orbital WDT makes the Weiss Distribution Technique easier and cleaner with a smooth, stable 360° rotation and a magnetic base that locks onto your portafilter. Eight ultra-fine 0.3mm stainless-steel needles reach deep into the grounds to declump and fluff, and the two-way twist lets you prep the basket with a simple motion in either direction. Designed to fit most 58mm portafilters, it’s a smart match for complete home espresso setups routines. Use it before the Timemore PUCKS Calibrated Tamper.
