Perched between ocean breezes and terracotta rooftops, this 2024 red from Tile House Wine Merchant captures Santa Barbara’s coastal elegance. On the nose, rose petal and black cherry give way to wild strawberry, soft spice, sandalwood, dried herbs, fine oak toast, and a whisper of forest floor. The palate is silky yet structured, with fine-grained tannins carrying dark cherry and floral notes to a juicy, lingering finish. A quiet tension between fruit and umami reflects Burgundian inspiration shaped by cool-climate coastal soils. Crafted for special moments—whether paired with cherry-glazed duck or mushroom tagliatelle—and ideal for oceanside sunsets or candlelit evenings.
