Privada Storytelling
Some cigars are made for collectors. Others are made for legends. The GOAT was created with one man in mind: the greatest basketball player to ever step on the hardwood. Measuring an astonishing 9×45, it’s not only a cigar—it’s a statement piece, a symbol of ambition and mastery.
Rolled entirely by hand in Costa Rica, only 5,000 cigars were ever produced, ensuring that each one remains a rarefied treasure. The tobaccos, drawn from three different countries, remain undisclosed. What matters most here is the experience—the privilege of holding in your hand the same cigar designed for the man himself.
When you light The GOAT, you’re not just smoking—you’re stepping into greatness. It’s a victory lap, a celebration, and a reminder that legends are built with patience, skill, and relentless dedication.
Flavor Journey
-
First Third: Opens with creamy wood and leather, quickly joined by a subtle sweetness of dried fruits. Cocoa dust lingers on the tongue while black pepper zips through the retrohale.
-
Second Third: The body deepens into espresso and rich baking spices, with waves of leather and cedar. A velvety smoke texture smooths out the pepper, creating a layered and balanced profile.
-
Final Third: Bold, elegant, and resonant. Dark cocoa, espresso, and oak dominate with flashes of spice and subtle sweetness. The finish is long, echoing the endurance and dominance of its namesake.
Why It Belongs in Privada
This isn’t just another rare release—it’s a cigar born of legend. With only 5,000 in existence, The GOAT exemplifies Privada’s mission: to bring members cigars that no one else can. Its Costa Rican craftsmanship, imposing size, and tribute to the greatest of all time make it more than a cigar—it’s a legacy piece.
