The Botanist Distiller’s Strength Dry Gin hails from the iconic Bruichladdich Distillery on the windswept Isle of Islay, Scotland. Crafted with 22 hand-foraged botanicals native to the island, this gin is a testament to Bruichladdich’s commitment to bold flavors and artisanal production. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, it offers a velvety texture and a concentrated depth of flavor that elevates every sip.
On the nose, the gin reveals a captivating blend of sweet juniper, warming spices, and bright citrus, underpinned by the herbal complexity of wild thyme, sweet gale, and mint. The palate follows with an intense yet harmonious dance of juniper-forward notes, warming spices, and sweet citrus, complemented by the delicate interplay of earthy and herbal Islay botanicals. The higher strength enhances the richness and luxurious mouthfeel, making it an ideal choice for refined cocktails or savoring neat.
The finish lingers with remarkable depth, transitioning from bold botanical flavors to soft floral notes and a whisper of Islay’s coastal essence. Whether in a classic martini or a vibrant gin and tonic, The Botanist Distiller’s Strength is a versatile spirit that delivers both power and elegance, offering a true taste of its island heritage.
