The Bitter Truth Cucumber Bitters (200 mL) are savory cocktail bitters made in Germany to capture the delicate character of fresh cucumber. Fresh cucumbers are processed after harvest and distilled, then the distillate is refined with selected herbs and spices for a concentrated seasoning that can bring green, garden-like detail to mixed drinks throughout the year.
The golden-amber bitters open with marinated cucumber and cracked pepper. The palate follows with fresh green cucumber, light bitterness, rosemary, thyme, and a hint of fleur de sel, while floral notes and squash carry into the finish. The result is peppery, herbal, and distinctly savory.
Use a few controlled dashes to brighten a Pimm’s Cup, Gin & Tonic, or Cucumber Martini, particularly when working with gin, vodka, or other clean spirits. The bottle includes a practical dasher-style closure. This listing is for one 200 mL bottle at 39% ABV / 78 proof, designed as a concentrated cocktail flavoring.
