Our Ten Year Tree Sauvignon Blanc symbolizes the bright and delicious future of South African wine. This New World style features exotic fruit flavors and lively textures that will thrill your palate and nurture a newfound excitement about this lesser-known region. In the Western Cape, cooling southeasterly winds—known locally as the “Cape Doctor”—once rustled the branches of apple trees found in the region’s old orchards. Today, rows of trellised grapevines have taken the trees’ place lining these sun-soaked shores. A warm climate and cooling oceanic influence create ideal conditions for ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes packed with flavor. Our local winemaking partners are among South Africa’s oldest family-owned wine estates, whose practices and traditions remain rooted in this country’s rich history. With this bottle, we invite you to experience this heritage firsthand and share your discovery with family and friends. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
