Whisky Advocate Score: 93, #19 on the Top 20 Whiskies of 2022 List
Master distiller Alex Chasko selected wide-grain virgin Chinkapin American white oak casks to fully mature this batch of distinctive Dublin-made single pot still whiskey, with each bottle sold helping to replant native trees in County Wicklow. The fresh oak has deeply etched its character on the spirit with savory and spicy aromas of roasted sweet chestnut, marron glacé, licorice, pecan, and treacle, followed by a deliciously yielding palate of black fruits, forest honey, clove, cola, and Brazil nut.
