Teeling Blackpitts Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey brings Dublin’s historic Blackpitts district to your glass. This whiskey uses traditional peat smoke during malting, giving it a bold, smoky flavor that stands out from typical Irish whiskies. Triple distillation smooths out harsh notes, letting the rich smokiness shine without feeling medicinal.
Aged in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-Sauternes white wine casks, it delivers layers of flavor—sweet vanilla, ripe fruit, and toasted oak meet gentle spice. On the nose, you’ll notice subtle peat smoke blending with honey and vanilla, inviting you to sip. The finish is long and warming, leaving smoky and sweet notes lingering.
This whiskey pairs beautifully with charred meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses. Sip it neat, with a splash of water, or explore it alongside your favorite dishes.
Teeling Blackpitts is for you if you enjoy peated whiskey with depth and character. If you prefer lighter, unpeated flavors, this one might feel intense. It’s a whiskey that respects tradition while pushing boundaries, offering a unique, memorable experience in every sip.
