Wrapper: Mexican San Andrés
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium
The Tatuaje Surrogates Satin Glove is a refined and balanced expression from the creative minds of Dan Welsh and Pete Johnson. Released under L'Atelier Imports, Surrogates takes an unconventional approach to the traditional cigar portfolio, with each vitola featuring its own unique size and blend, giving every cigar in the collection a distinctive character.
Described as providing a "clean and well pressed balance to a classic earthy wrapper," the Satin Glove showcases the rich character of a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The result is a smooth medium bodied profile that delivers depth and complexity without becoming overpowering.
Expect notes of earth, dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, roasted nuts, gentle spice, and natural sweetness, with the San Andrés wrapper providing a rich foundation throughout the smoke. Its balanced character allows the flavors to develop gradually while maintaining a smooth and composed finish.
Rich, balanced, and unmistakably Surrogates, the Tatuaje Surrogates Satin Glove pairs the earthy character of Mexican San Andrés with the depth of Nicaraguan tobacco for a refined addition to the Surrogates portfolio.
