Tasting notes: Dried apricot, jasmine and citrus
The Esencia Pura cooperative produces this Geisha within the La Unión Crop Management group in Nariño, Colombia. Grown at 2,100 metres in volcanic mountain soils, the lot expresses a bright and floral high-altitude profile.
The cherries undergo 36 to 96 hours of anaerobic fermentation before washing and 10 to 25 days of slow drying in parabolic dryers. In the cup, dried apricot leads into delicate jasmine and vibrant citrus; Tanat scores the light filter roast 88.
