Nicholas Melillo and his Foundation Cigar Company have been fully embraced by cigar lovers searching for rich and deliciously smooth cigars that showcase the bolder side of Connecticut tobacco at its finest. The Tabernacle Broadleaf Doble Corona is a fantastic example of Foundation’s captivating lineup of Connecticut Broadleaf-wrapped smokes. Delectably bold yet balanced through and through, the Tabernacle Doble Corona is a cigar lover’s dream.
Named in honor of the sanctuary that housed the Ark of the Covenant before its days in Solomon’s Temple, the Tabernacle Broadleaf blend is comprised of savory Nicaraguan Esteli and Honduran Jamastran filler tobaccos and a Mexican San Andres binder. A luxuriously dark and oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper provides the 7” x 54 giant’s finishing touch.
A Tabernacle Broadleaf Doble Corona is an event every bit worth the two hours or so required to fully enjoy it. Sumptuous chocolate, caramel wood, and coffee notes swirl across the palate with every puff. Hints of wood, pepper, and leather join tart and salty nuances as the medium-to-full-bodied smoke evolves. The finish is a boldly satisfying, sweet, and spicy festival of flavor.
Tabernacle Broadleaf Doble Corona cigars are the ultimate choice for any cigar smoker searching for a big, rich, and smooth smoke that underscores the quality of Foundations’ Connecticut-focused smokes.
