Swear Jar Hot Honey Canadian Whisky is a flavoured Canadian whisky combining the smooth character of Canadian whisky with sweet honey flavour and a warming spicy edge. Bottled at 35% ABV, the expression is designed around the contrast between rich honeyed sweetness and peppery heat, creating a bold, approachable flavoured whisky suited to sipping, serving over ice, or mixing into cocktails.
Food Pairing: Hot honey chicken, barbecue pork, glazed ribs, sharp cheddar, cornbread, or vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of honey.
Tasting Notes: Sweet and warming, balancing rich honeyed character with caramel-like whisky sweetness and a gradually developing spicy heat.
Nose: Sweet and inviting, with honey-forward aromas supported by soft caramel, vanilla and a subtle hint of warming spice.
Palate: Smooth and sweet, led by honey and caramel before developing a peppery warmth that provides contrast to the richer confectionery notes.
Finish: Sweet and warming, with lingering honey followed by a gradually fading spicy kick.
Serve: Enjoy neat, chilled or over ice; its combination of sweetness and heat also works well with ginger ale, lemonade or in spicy whisky cocktails.
