Given 96 Points, a Double Gold medal, and called "Best of Class" the Sunscript is a massive hit, especially at the 2018 International Women's Wine Competition. Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted grape in the world. “King Cab” they call it. A bold, domineering grape that brings strong flavor and hardy structure. People love it, and it’s converted red wine skeptics to true believers after just one sip. Cabernet takes well to new soils and can become brilliant with the right conditions. The 2016 growing season was perfect for Cabernet. Warm days and cool nights let the farmers keep the grapes hanging on the vines until they were plump and ripe with flavor. With a big front flavor of sweet dark fruit and a plump finish, the Sunscript 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is a celebration of the king of grapes. We have been loving how the wine pairs with tomato-based pasta. The full-bodied wine cuts through the heavy acids from the tomatoes.
