Sugarlands Shine Orange Squeeze Moonshine (750ml) puts a fun citrus spin on classic moonshine. It is made in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, by Sugarlands Distilling Company. The flavor is inspired by old-fashioned orange soda. It pairs that nostalgic taste with a bit of Appalachian attitude. The rock band O.A.R. helped launch it as brand ambassadors in 2024. At 50 proof (25% ABV), it is light and easy to enjoy.
Taste and Flavor Profile
This moonshine is all about juicy orange. The first sip is sweet, like fresh orange juice. Then a tart, tangy citrus note kicks in. Many drinkers say it tastes a lot like orange soda. The sweetness stays bright rather than heavy. It is easy to sip chilled or to use in a summer cocktail.
Aroma & Bouquet
Open the jar and you’ll smell bright, lively citrus right away. Ripe orange leads the way. A touch of sugary sweetness follows. A soft warmth from the spirit sits underneath. The nose tells you exactly what the flavor will be.
Smooth & Finish
Even with its bold orange flavor, this moonshine goes down smoothly. The finish is light and refreshing. A gentle orange aftertaste lingers for a moment. It never feels too sweet or heavy. That makes it easy to enjoy straight, chilled or on the rocks.
Who Is It For
Sugarlands Shine Orange Squeeze Moonshine is great for anyone who loves fruity drinks. Do you enjoy citrus-forward cocktails? Then this jar is worth a try. It mixes well with lemonade, soda water or ginger beer. It also works on its own, served cold. It is a playful bottle for parties and summer get-togethers.
