Stemmari Vermentino Sicilia is a Sicilian white made from Vermentino grown in the coastal areas of western Sicily. Deep, loamy soils and an early harvest help preserve the variety’s aromatic character and freshness. The grapes are picked in the cool morning hours, then crushed, destemmed, and gently pressed under low-oxygen conditions. After cold settling, the must ferments at a controlled 16°C for 10 days, and the wine rests on its lees for three months before filtration, stabilization, and bottling. It is presented in a 750ml bottle at 13% ABV (26 proof).
Stemmari describes a straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. White flowers and cut grass open the aroma profile before developing into riper pineapple and mango notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with pleasant breadth, good persistence, and a fresh, balanced finish that lingers harmoniously. Serve it chilled as an aperitif or alongside raw seafood, swordfish or tuna carpaccio, vegetable starters, fresh cheese, and salt-baked fish.
