Based in Melbourne, Australia, Starward Distillery presents a groundbreaking collaboration with the esteemed Islay-based Lagavulin Distillery, resulting in the Starward Single Malt Australian Whisky Finished in ex-Lagavulin Barrels. This limited edition release explores innovation and tradition, marrying Starward's signature Australian single malt, initially matured in red wine barrels, with the iconic peaty essence of Lagavulin through an additional 18 months of maturation in ex-Lagavulin barrels. This process imparts a unique combination of tropical and smoky notes to the whisky, creating a bold and unique tasting experience.
