Introducing the Starlight Distillery Four Square Rum Finished Barrel, a unique expression that tells a story of craftsmanship and collaboration. This barrel started as a Heaven Hill bourbon barrel before traveling to Barbados, where it aged Four Square Rum. It was then brought to Starlight Distillery in Indiana for its final transformation.
About the Blend: Starlight Distillery is renowned for its exceptional finishing techniques, and this release is no exception. Known for their flawless blends, Starlight continues to impress with every barrel. As my friend Darren says, "never had a bad one," and this release proves that true once again.
Tasting Experience: This bourbon finished in rum barrels offers a delightful, fruit-forward profile with a proof of 113.9. Expect vibrant notes of tropical fruit, seamlessly integrated with the rich, warm undertones of bourbon. The journey from Kentucky bourbon to Barbadian rum and finally to Indiana results in a complex and satisfying flavor experience.
Exclusive Access and Limited Availability: During a special visit to Starlight, we had the privilege of tasting 13 different barrels with Christian, the owner’s son, and the original Master Distiller. This particular barrel stood out for its unique character and exceptional taste. With only approximately 120 bottles available, this limited release is a must-have for any whiskey enthusiast.
Shipping Information: Due to the short holiday week, shipments will commence the week of July 8th, 2024. This ensures that your bottles won't sit on trucks during the peak heat of summer, preserving their quality and integrity.
